2022年模擬国連世界大会ニューヨーク大会 ～パキスタン大使団として事前ミーティングを行いました～
2022年3月15日、4月に開催される模擬国連世界大会に参加する神戸市外国語大学の学生が、駐日パキスタン大使館のイスマット・ハッサン・シアル大使館次席と面会し、実際のパキスタンの国際問題や国際関係についての概要をご教授いただきました。神戸市外国語大学の学生は、2022年4月に開催される2022年模擬国連世界大会ニューヨーク大会でパキスタンを代表します。今回のイスマット大使館次席との面会では、学生がイスマット大使館次席に国連総会やUNESCO、 UNICEF、 国連環境総会など、大会で出場する国連機関に関わる様々な世界的問題に対するパキスタンの考えを伺いました。
3月16日には、2022年のニューヨーク大会で提携出場するドイツの大学と神戸市外国語大学でオンラインミーティングを開催しました。パキスタン大使のお話から学んだことや、会議本番に向けての準備の状況等について話し合いました。どちらの大学も、提携大使団として大会本番では様々な異なる国連機関でパキスタンを代表します。今回のミーティングで、同じパキスタン大使団として学生間での親交を深めることができました。
On March 15th, 2022 the delegation from Kobe City University of Foreign Studies met with the Deputy Chief of Mission, Ms. Ismat Hassan Sial, to receive a briefing on Pakistan's international outlook. Students will represent Pakistan at the National Model United Nations (NMUN) New York Conference 2022. Student delegates asked Ms. Ismat about Pakistan's approach to various global issues that are relevant to the various UN bodies and agencies that will be simulated, including the General Assembly, UNESCO, UNICEF, and the United Nations Environmental Assembly.
On March 16th, 2022 the joint delegation from Kobe City University of Foreign Studies and University Westfälische Hochschule in Germany met to discuss their respective meetings with the Embassies of Pakistan and their preparations for the NMUN conference. Both universities will represent Pakistan in various UN bodies and agencies, and this meeting helped to develop a close relationship between students.
