Welcome to Kobe City University of Foreign Studies (KCUFS) International Office!

The International Office was established in June 2006 as a part of the Kobe City University of Foreign Studies 60th anniversary project. We aim to provide students with more opportunities for international exchange involving KCUFS students, international students and students who have returned from abroad. We hope you would utilize this office for your needs.

International Office

1. For Study Abroad

Full-time staff with study abroad experience are on duty at the center and we will provide the following services:

Provide a place for international exchange among current students, international students and people with study abroad experiences.
Provide consultation and support for study at Partner Universities / Institutions.
Provide information on study abroad.
Hold various seminars and brief interested parties regarding study abroad.

2. For Incoming International Students

The International Office provides opportunities for language and cultural exchange with Japanese students. International students participating in the KCUFS Japanese Language Program or Intensive Japanese Language Summer Course have a personal Mentor and Japanese Conversation Partners. Mentors support the international students in daily life when they need help; and international students can freely practice speaking Japanese outside of class, with Japanese Conversation Partners.

3. GAIDAI Chat

We provide Free Chatting Sessions in several languages for International Students and our students.
*Limited to KCUFS students.
