1. Eligible Students

Applicants must meet all the requirements below by being:

(1) Exchange students (tuition waived) from partner universities or fee-paying students (tuition：267,900JPY/semester)

(2) Students aiming to pass the JLPT levels N3 - N1

(3) Students who have an English proficiency of CEFR B1, IELTS 4.5, TOEFL iBT 60 or equivalent

【Notes】

* Students must be enrolled in undergraduate/graduate courses at the time of applying for and finishing the JLP program.
* Re-applications to this program will not be accepted.
* There is no lower elementary level course (corresponding approximately to the JLPT N5 level) .

March 30	Placement Test
April 2	JLP Orientation, Opening Ceremony
April 3	Individual Counseling
April 9	Classes start
August 3	Closing Ceremony

3. Application procedures

	Spring Semester 2026
(1) Deadline for nomination by your home university *Please send a nomination email which includes; -the name of your nominated student(s), -the gender of your nominated student(s), -the duration of study at KCUFS  of your nominated student(s).	August 31, 2025
(2) Deadline for Submission of Applications *Applications must be received no later than the deadlines.	October 15, 2025
(3) Notification	the end of November, 2025
