SPANISH EDITION　５月30日（土曜）開催

2026年5月30日(土曜)、神戸市外国語大学サテライトにおいて、第1回「CITIZENS' CHAT CAFÉ SPANISH EDITION」を開催いたしました。これまで2年間にわたり神戸市外大で英語による交流会を実施してまいりましたが、このたび多言語による交流の場へと発展させ、その第一弾としてスペイン語版を開催することができました。

当日は、イスパニア学科の日本人学生4名と、日本語プログラムに所属するスペイン人留学生2名がファシリテーターを務め、同学科卒業生を含む23名の参加者を迎えました。さまざまな年齢、国籍、背景の方々が集い、2時間にわたってスペイン語で活発な交流を楽しみました。会場は終始温かい雰囲気に包まれ、新たな友情も生まれました。

今回のテーマは「旅行体験」でした。前半の1時間では、スペイン語版の世界地図を用いながら、参加者それぞれが海外での体験や異文化との出会いについて語り合いました。さまざまな国や地域にまつわる話題が次々と共有され、多彩な文化経験について活発な意見交換が行われました。後半はフリートークの時間とし、芸術や文化、今後予定しているスペイン旅行、外国語学習の方法、趣味や関心事など、幅広い話題について交流が深められました。参加者の皆さまの積極的な姿勢と温かい交流のおかげで、大変有意義で楽しいひとときとなりました。

ご参加いただいた皆さまをはじめ、本イベントの成功にご協力いただいた方々へ心より感謝申し上げます。今後も言語と文化を通じて人と人とをつなぐ機会を提供してまいりたいと考えております。どうぞご期待ください。

Informe sobre la primera edición en español de la Tertulia de Ciudadanos (Citizens´Chat Café) (30 de mayo de 2026)

El 30 de mayo de 2026 tuvimos el placer de celebrar el primer Citizens' Chat Café en español en el Campus Satélite de la Universidad de Estudios Extranjeros de la Ciudad de Kobe. Tras dos años de exitosos encuentros en inglés organizados en Kobe Gaidai, ampliamos el programa para incluir encuentros multilingües, comenzando con el español.

Cuatro estudiantes japoneses del Departamento de Estudios Hispánicos y dos estudiantes españolas de intercambio del Programa de Lengua Japonesa actuaron como facilitadores de conversación para un total de 23 participantes, entre los que se encontraban varios graduados del Departamento. Personas de diferentes edades, nacionalidades y trayectorias se reunieron para disfrutar de dos horas de animada conversación en español, creando un ambiente cálido y acogedor en el que surgieron nuevas amistades.

El tema del encuentro fue las experiencias de viaje. Durante la primera hora, los participantes utilizaron un mapa del mundo en español como punto de partida para compartir historias y reflexiones sobre sus viajes y sus encuentros interculturales. Las conversaciones abarcaron una gran variedad de países y experiencias culturales. La segunda mitad del encuentro estuvo dedicada a la conversación libre. Los participantes intercambiaron opiniones sobre una amplia gama de temas, entre ellos el arte y la cultura, los próximos viajes a España, el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras y diversos intereses personales. El entusiasmo y la actitud abierta de todos los asistentes hicieron de esta una experiencia verdaderamente agradable y enriquecedora.

Deseamos expresar nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a todos los facilitadores y participantes que contribuyeron al éxito de este evento. Esperamos seguir creando muchas más oportunidades para conectar a las personas a través de las lenguas y las culturas en el futuro.

Citizens' Chat Café Spanish Edition Event Report- May 30, 2026

On May 30, 2026, we were delighted to host the first Citizens' Chat Café Spanish Edition at the Satellite Campus of Kobe City University of Foreign Studies. Following two years of successful English-language gatherings at Kobe City Gaidai, we expanded the program to include multilingual encounters, beginning with Spanish.

Four Japanese students from the Department of Spanish Studies and two Spanish exchange students from the Japanese Language Program served as conversation facilitators for 23 participants, including several alumni of the Department. People of different ages, backgrounds, and nationalities came together to enjoy two hours of lively conversation in Spanish, creating a warm atmosphere in which new friendships were formed.

The theme of the event was travel experiences. During the first hour, participants used a world map in Spanish as a starting point to share stories and reflections on their travels and intercultural encounters. Their conversations ranged across a wide variety of countries and cultural experiences. The second half of the event was devoted to free conversation. Participants discussed a broad range of topics, including art and culture, upcoming trips to Spain, language learning, and personal interests. The enthusiasm and openness of everyone involved made for a truly enjoyable and rewarding experience.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the participants who contributed to the success of this event. We look forward to many more opportunities to connect people through language and culture in the future.

第１回　５月23日（土曜）開催

今年度最初のCITIZENS' CHAT CAFÉ （以下、CCC）イベントが5月23日(土曜)に開催されました。子どもから高齢者まで幅広い年齢層の32名の方々にご参加いただき、さまざまな年齢や背景の人々が英語を通じて交流することで、CCCならではの多様性と魅力を改めて感じることができるイベントとなりました。
今回のテーマは「Vacation（休暇）」でした。春休みや大型連休の後の開催ということもあり、参加者は旅行の思い出や家族との時間、休暇中の出来事などについて話し、それぞれの体験を共有しました。
テーブルディスカッションの前には、CCCの学生スタッフがタンザニア旅行について短いプレゼンテーションを行いました。興味深い体験談や写真が紹介され、それをきっかけに旅行に関する話題が自然と広がりました。会場では旅行好きの参加者が多く見られ、各テーブルで活発な会話が繰り広げられました。今回は比較的少人数での開催となったため一人ひとりが発言する機会が多く、参加者同士がより深く交流できる和やかな雰囲気となりました。
また、2026年1月以来のCCC開催ということもあり、多くの常連参加者の皆様と再会できたほか、新しい参加者の方々にもお会いすることができました。CCCに対する継続的な関心と温かいご支援を感じることができ、大変嬉しく思います。イベントの最後には、今後のイベント情報を受け取っていただくために、CCCのInstagramアカウントおよび公式LINEアカウントのフォローをお願いしました。
CCCは今後も、世代や国籍を超えた交流の場として、参加者が安心して楽しく英語によるコミュニケーションを実践できる環境を提供していきます。

The 1st Citizens' Chat Café Event Report- May 23,2026

The first CCC event of this year was held on May 23, welcoming 32 participants ranging from young children to senior citizens. Although more than 40 people had registered, several participants unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute due to illness or other personal reasons. Nevertheless, the event once again demonstrated the diversity and unique charm of CCC by bringing together people of different ages and backgrounds in a friendly English-speaking environment. The theme for this session was "Vacation." As the event took place shortly after the spring holiday season and Golden Week, participants shared stories about how they spent their vacations, including travel experiences, family activities, and memorable moments during their time off.
Before the table discussions began, one of the CCC student staff members gave a short presentation about her trip to Tanzania. Her presentation featured interesting experiences and photos, which naturally encouraged participants to talk about travel during the discussion sessions. It was clear that many attendees have a passion for traveling, as the topic generated lively and engaging conversations throughout the room. With a relatively smaller number of participants compared to some previous sessions, everyone had more opportunities to speak and interact. This created a relaxed atmosphere where participants could engage in deeper conversations and get to know one another better.
Since this was our first CCC event since January, we were delighted to welcome back many familiar faces while also meeting new participants. It was encouraging to see the strong interest and continued support for the event. At the end of the session, participants were reminded to follow the CCC Instagram and official LINE account to receive updates about future events. We also kindly requested that participants refrain from contacting the university directly and instead use the official CCC email address for any inquiries.
CCC continues to serve as a unique platform for cross-generational and international exchange, providing participants with a supportive and enjoyable environment to practice English.
